On-Campus Employment
Heritage employs students on-campus in many different areas such as the library, the bookstore, maintenance, and student leadership roles. The catering company who runs our cafeteria also hires students. The Career & Calling Centre communicates on-campus job openings to our students as they become available.
Heart at Work Program
Heart at Work is Heritage’s on-campus employment program. All students employed by Heritage or who regularly volunteer in a specific department are part of the program. The goal of this program is to be intentional in training our student workers and to give them skills that they can take with them to summer jobs, internships, and post-graduation employment.
Work Skills Transcript
The work skills transcript was developed to give our students an official document that they can take to employers outside Heritage. The transcript details the skills that they have acquired or exhibited in their on-campus work, as well as an evaluation from their supervisor.
