Equipping is essential for faithful service in the church. The people of God need pastors who love, obey, and teach the Word of God. This conviction is at the heart of Heritage’s Master of Divinity program. It aims to train pastors for the call of ministry, so that they are fully prepared to shepherd the church of God for the glory of God.
The 90-credit-hour Master of Divinity accomplishes its aim by providing rigorous training in:
- Expository Preaching
- Biblical Languages
- Hermeneutics
- Systematic and Historical Theology
- Church History
- Pastoral Leadership and Discipleship
Admission Requirements
- Applicants to the Master of Divinity must have a minimum AGPA of 2.30 (“C+”) in their bachelor’s degree.
- Courses in English Composition, English Literature, and Communications are normally recommended. However, courses in general Arts and Sciences are acceptable.
