The Heritage Preaching Lectures is an event that seeks to equip and encourage pastors and other ministry leaders with the tools need to sharpen their skills to serve their churches and congregations.

About Darrell Johnson
Darrell Johnson has been preaching Jesus Christ and His Gospel for over 50 years. He has served a number of Presbyterian congregations in California, Union Church of Manila in the Philippines, and the historic First Baptist Church in the heart of Vancouver, Canada. He has taught preaching for Fuller Theological Seminary, Carey Theological College in Vancouver, and Regent College in Vancouver. He has authored eight books, including The Glory of Preaching and Discipleship on the Edge: An Expository Journey Through Revelation.
He is currently serving as Scholar-in-Residence for The Way Church and Canadian Church Leaders Network, and still serves Regent College part-time as Teaching Fellow.
He and his wife Sharon have been married 49 years. Together they have raised four children adopted from four different countries of the world, and now enjoy loving 11 active grandchildren!

Pastors’ Wives & Women in Ministry Post-Conference Event
Over the years, Heritage has sponsored days away for those who serve in ministry, both as wives of pastors or women serving in ministry. This year, we’d like to share new resources for pastors’ wives and new options for women serving in ministry.
All women in ministry & pastors’ wives are invited to a Zoom Chat on October 14, at 7:00 p.m. Two breakout sessions will be offered:
- Wendy McCready, author and blogger at smalltownpastorswives will share with the pastors’ wives.
- Linda Seabrook, who serves in Women’s Ministry at Redemption (formerly Harvest London) will lead a breakout session for women serving in ministry.
This event is free for pastors’ wives and women serving in ministry to attend.
