Heritage Preaching Lectures 2023

Join us on Thursday, November 9 for our annual Heritage Preaching Lectures happening at Heritage College & Seminary.

This year, Heritage Theological Seminary is pleased to welcome Pastor Ryan Fullerton to be our speaker for the day. Fullerton is the Pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. About Ryan Fullerton

Ryan was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and grew up all over western Canada. Throughout his teen years, he pursued political causes to make him feel righteous and drugs and sensuality to make him feel happy. Thankfully, when he was 21 he found his righteousness was a joke and his happiness had turned sour. Through the simple and intelligent witness of his stepmom, he came to trust Jesus Christ late in the evening just before Good Friday in 1995. Shortly after his conversion, he studied at Prairie Bible College in Three Hills, Alberta, and then at Tyndale College in Toronto, Ontario where he received a Bachelor of Religious Studies. He married the lovely Christy Teal shortly after their graduation from college. Together, he and Christy, have four children. In 2002, Ryan became the Lead Pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky.  Along with his responsibilities as Pastor of Immanuel, Ryan helps lead the global church planting & revitalizing efforts of the Immanuel Network.  He is the co-author of Pray for the Flock (with Brian Croft) and Encountering God Through Expository Preaching (with Jim Orrick and Brian Payne). After decades of moving in and out of seminary, he finally graduated in May 2022 and now holds the Adv. MDiv from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. In his free time, he is spectacularly bad at golf.
