Tatiana Blackburn Memorial Bursary Application

About this Bursary:

Tatiana Blackburn enrolled at Heritage College in the Fall of 2016 in the Bachelor of Theology program. She was actively involved in student leadership, serving as a Resident Assistant and involved in local and global mission initiatives.

On August 17, 2018, Tatiana was tragically killed in a car accident. She was 20 years old.

Tatiana dedicated her life to loving Jesus and loving people. Her heart for evangelism was evident and she was driving force behind her family moving to Peru in 2014 to serve children in need. Since her death, her family has built a girls’ home in Peru called “Tat’s Place” in her memory.

To honour Tatiana’s legacy, the Blackburn family has donated the funds for this bursary to be awarded to a student who shares Tatiana’s heart for missions and Jesus.

The Tatiana Blackburn Memorial Bursary is awarded to a full-time undergraduate student (minimum 3 courses) who demonstrates a passion for missions. It is awarded to a selected student in the Fall semester.
