7:15pm – Breakout Sessions for specific areas of ministry including pastors, youth ministry, worship, biblical care & counselling, kids ministry, missions and parachurch ministry.

Panelist Feature 

Jason Elliotson, Pastor of Discipleship and Care
Jason has been involved in various layers of ministry for more than 25 years and currently serves as one of the pastors at Temple Baptist Church in Cambridge, Ontario where he lives with his wife, Kellie, and their playful Golden Retriever, Bo. 

Curious about everything and an avid bushman, his interests range from most sports through music and other arts, from philosophy and the humanities through the hard sciences, economics and politics. He loves Jesus and God’s people, and wants to be found making disciples and faithfully caring for the family of God when Jesus returns. | Matthew 10:25 | Romans 12:9-10 

Keith Sparrow, Worship Pastor
Keith Sparrow serves as the Worship Pastor at Forward Church and is the Chair of Waterloo Region Worship (WRW), a collaborative movement uniting churches across the region through worship. His personal mission is to engage people in meaningful worship experiences by drawing their full attention to Christ. With a heart for the local church and a passion for developing healthy, Christ-centered worship cultures, Keith loves equipping teams and leaders to serve with both excellence and humility.

Matt Naismith, Church Planting Catalyst / National Director – C3 Canadian Campus Collective
Matt Naismith is a church planting catalyst with Send Network Canada, host of The Sowers Podcast, and National Director of the C3 Canadian Campus Collective. Matt is passionate about seeing everyday disciples of Jesus becomes sowers of the gospel in the places they live, work, learn and, play. Prior to his current role, Matt founded Church of the City in Guelph, On. Matt is married to Andrea (pronounced Ondrea) and they have three boys: Nixon, Cade, and Thando. 

Dustin Boreland, Senior Associate Pastor
Dustin Boreland currently serves at Springvale Church in Stouffville, Ontario, and is pursuing a Doctorate in Practical Theology at McMaster Divinity College focused on spiritual formation in post-Christian contexts. Prior to returning to Ontario in 2022, Dustin spent several years in Montreal, where he and his family planted and revitalized churches. Before their time in Montreal, he and his wife Racquel served as foster parents to more than 15 teenage boys while also engaging in church planting. Dustin is deeply passionate about bridging the gap between the Gospel and culture, equipping the local church for mission, and can be found overindulging on hip hop and spicy chicken sandwiches. 

Mike Racinsky, Next Gen Catalyst
Mike Racinsky is a Heritage grad with over 15 years of experience in youth and next generation ministry. He currently serves as the Next Gen Catalyst for FEB Central, partnering with churches and leaders to help disciple and develop the next generation of pastors and leaders. Mike lives in Cambridge, Ontario with his wife Sara and their two children, Hope and Theo.

Jane Cates, former Kids Ministry Director
Jane Cates has been a teacher, a full-time children’s ministry director, a homeschooling mom, and a juggler’s assistant (to her husband). She is passionate about sharing the greatness of God to children, and equipping those who teach them to do the same. She serves in a volunteer role in the HBC Kid’s ministry at Hespeler Baptist Church and is also a member of the Gospel Kids planning team. She loves to thrift, decorate, story tell and bake. And, she takes her coffee with one milk. 

Tanya Verburg, CEO Ray of Hope
Tonya Verburg is the CEO at Ray of Hope.  She has worked in the non profit industry for over thirty years.  Tonya lives in Kitchener.  Tonya and her husband have two amazing children, Nathan and Justine.  Tonya graduated from Renison College, University of Waterloo with a degree in Social Work and has her MBA from the University of Fredericton.  Tonya was raised in Huron County and loves to go back to Lake Huron whenever possible.
