Heritage staff member tests positive for COVID-19
The case has been deemed low risk to the College & Seminary community and the staff member is continuing their self-isolation period.

Heritage College & Seminary has been informed that one of our staff members has recently tested positive for COVID-19.
After following the guidelines given from public health officials, the staff member will be continuing their self-isolation period. With the staff member working mainly from home, the risk to the Heritage community is very low. Their last day on campus was on Monday, March 29.
Heritage off-campus student tests positive for COVID-19
The case has been deemed a low risk to the Heritage community and the student is now isolating.

Heritage College & Seminary has been informed that one of our off-campus students has recently tested positive for COVID-19.
Following guidelines given from public health officials, the student has now entered self-isolation in their home. The student has not been on the campus and, as a result, there is low risk to the Heritage community.

The case has been deemed low risk to the College & Seminary community and the staff member has recovered and confirmed the end of their isolation period.

Heritage College & Seminary has been informed that one of our staff members tested positive for COVID-19 over the Christmas break.
After following the guidelines given from the Region of Waterloo Public Health, the staff member has now recovered and confirmed with Public Health the end of their quarantine period on Saturday, January 2, 2021. All those who may have had high risk contact with this individual have been contacted and given guidance from Public Health.
Officials from Public Health have stated that the risk to the Heritage community is very low as the staff member’s last day on campus was before the Christmas break on Thursday, December 17.

If you believe that you have become ill with respiratory symptoms and had potential connection with COVID-19, please:
- Contact Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000 to seek advice.
- Please inform the COVID-19 Response Team at Heritage through email at covid19@heritagecs.edu.
