Master of Divinity
M.Div – Prepare for your calling.
To faithfully serve and shepherd the church, one needs to be equipped for the great calling of pastoral ministry. Pastors must be trained to teach, live out, and love the Word of God while being shaped by the Gospel in order to walk with and lead people to Christ. This is at the heart of the Heritage Master of Divinity – to equip pastors to serve the churches they have been entrusted to lead.
Heritage’s 90-credit-hour Master of Divinity will equip you through learning:
- Expository preaching
- Biblical languages and Hermeneutics
- Systematic and Historical Theology
- Pastoral care and leadership
- Spiritual formation
The Association of Theological Schools sees the M.Div. as an appropriate foundational degree for a research doctorate (i.e. Th.D. or Ph.D.) or a ministry doctorate (D.Min.).
