Heritage Hubs

Heritage desires to serve the local church by equipping leaders for ministry. From full-time degrees to modular, online and hub-based options, Heritage adapts to the season, stage and calling of each student – making deep spiritual formation more accessible than ever. We understand the value and importance of not removing people from their place of worship and service. We also know that community, within service in ministry and in education is fundamental.

Heritage Hubs is an opportunity to bring the experience of online learning and community, together.

While online learning continues to grow as a preferred model of learning, we also know that the experiences of in person learning offer great advantage to a student.

One seminary student, who has been a part of Heritage both in person and online says it this way:

“The times I had the opportunity to learn in person at the school connected me with lifelong friends and brothers and sisters in ministry who I can call on and rely on. Service in ministry can be hard and arduous and knowing you’re not alone makes it less isolating. In contrast, the flexibility of online learning meant I could give more to my local church and be practising what I was learning within real, ministry context. Both, have been of great value to me.”

Heritage Hubs brings these two methods, together.

A Heritage Hub is a partnering location (typically a church) who sees the value of bringing learners together within the context of their community where they serve.

Hubs bring 2 or more people together to study in person while taking Heritage courses, virtually.

Where a hub may have 6+ individuals interested in learning together, Heritage may work with the hub partner to equip a learning group facilitator to bring a more personalized experience to the learning environment.

This combination learning opportunity provides the same flexibility and accessibility as online learning while maintaining the in-person immersive experience.
